- Well this dog didnt go to Saluki Rescue, the dog had been signed over to them by West Berkshire Council, and when they went to collect her, Honeybottom Kennels had sent her somewhere else, and will not devulge where she has gone. Lets hope this little girl didnt find her way to Crunchys.

- I hope NO dog has to go to Crunchies, it's where my Saluki x Whippet came from, she was in such a state I was so glad to get her home and safety. If you pay £60 at the gate (you are not allowed into Crunchies, they make sure of that) and believe all their lies you can buy any dog you want,no questions asked, the poor dogs come out worse than when they go in. Hope Crunchies gets banned and shut down for good.Least they deserve.

- Nothing from the Council yet. Toby is fine, we homechecked where he had been sold to, and he obviously loved the dog very much, so we allowed him to stay with the chap that had bought him from Crunchys. Hope all goes well with the Saluki, shame about the lab cross being there.

- Thanks for your e-mail Jo. Glad to know that this one is safe, however that still leaves 32020 Lab cross at Honeybottom. Would,nt trust them not to pass on to
crunchies as they have to off load them somewhere. That sounds harsh I know, but its the awful truth. Hope you suceed BC. - 2011-08-22 12:45 BC
- Jobadger, glad to hear that she wont end up at Crunchys, perhaps Honeybottom have seen sense !!

- Spoken to West Berkshire CC they are calling me back, have also contacted another licensing officer for the Council who has major concerns over Crunchys, to see if we can put any pressure on West Berks

- Pleased to let you know that the Saluki Welfare Trust has a fabulous foster home lined up for this little girl when her time's up on Thursday. She won't be passed over to anywhere else. They've promised to let me know how she gets on. Jo xxLast edited: 2011-08-22 12:23:47 by jobadger

- We have had lots of complaints about Crunchys since the episode with Toby
- 2011-08-22 12:08 BC
- Honeybottom had the contract for Oxfordshire CC taken from them, Shereen spoke to Honeybottom, and was under the impression that he was taking strays from another area, we thought Berkshire at the time, so i called the councils in Berkshire, and was told that honeybottom didnt have the contract, ill look into it again, god help the dogs if they go on to Crunchys

- It's West Berks council, k9chum. I can only assume they have the stray contract.

- How is this lady getting on?
- 2011-08-19 22:10 k9chum
- Got a horrible feeling that this is Berkshire County Council and not Vale of White Horse that is using Honeybottom as one dog found in Thatcham and the other in Brightwalton. I am sure Shereen will put me straight on this one.Last edited: 2011-08-19 22:11:13 by k9chum

- Bit concerned to see that several found dogs have landed up at Honeybottom Kennels. Thats the outfit that passed TOBY/BARNEY (26970)onto Crunchies Rescue who then sold him on Gumtree. I was told the local authority was no longer using these kennels because of this so how come these dogs are going there?
