My phone number is below and if owner reads this I will put her in touch with my friend.

Thank you Terence. We think we know who he belongs to as my friend was walking Charlie this morning and bumped into another dog walker who knew him. So we know who the owner is but not how to contact him. Posters have gone up in the park and we will have to wait until he contacts my frined. In the meantime, Charlie has had a lovely holiday with my very caring friend!
