would like to let everyone know both my ozzy and lady have been found, i got a phone call today from the olice who are holding my dogs, both were picked up from harrow weald early hours, both oazzy and lady are well and together, the police will be doing an assessment on both dogs before the are aloowed home, as both dogs are pitbulls, (a blood test was done on both dogs, i truely thought ozzy was a staffy cross) i know in my heart they will both pass with flying colours, once the assessment has been done its then up to the judge to say whether im allowed them back, i would really like to thank everyone for all your suport and all youv done for me, my dogs and my son, what lovely and fantastic people you all are! i will keep you udated and when i get both home were they belong xxxxxx

Have just spoken to owner & advised to keep calling DWs , rescues,Battersea etc as these authorities have so many dogs coming in we don't want Lady & Ozzie missed as they don't have a chip to ID them.Last edited: 2011-08-30 09:18:54 by Aunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London

Posters gone up at Pets and Home and Fryent Country Park, Kingsbury. I think Nik can help with press coverage, she was really clued up when Polly went missing in the area last week. Or look online to get contacts at the paper?? Good luck, it must be tough for you with a new baby and a 7 year old to look after too. Poster everywhere, if someone has taken them in they must be made high profile. x
kelly
no news as yet =( im doing posters today an putting them all around the area, how do i get incontact with the papers?? xx

We're off to poster Harrow Weald Common/Grimsdyke.

This is definitely one for the Observer/Times, although they are not good at getting stories online. Let's see what happens over the weekend.
lesleyjane
Any sightings or news, Kelly?
lesleyjane
Thanks for extra info, Kelly, some distance from me but still spreading the word. Bus drivers a good idea, BonBon, at least they are working over bank hol weekend unlike the postmen etc. Let me know if I can help any more, I am going to Pets at Home in Colindale later and will put notice on their board.
BonBon
Kelly - sorry to see Ozzie & Lady are missing. Make sure you get posters to Harrow Weald bus garage so that all drivers are aware. Also all shops in the High Road and at the end of Long Elms as well as Hatch End & Pinner and all pubs. Sorry I can't help with search - too far away now but used to know this area very well before I moved from Weighton Road in 1974. Fingers crossed these two are home safe and sound very soon.
kelly
they went missing from 39 hutton lane harrow middlesex ha3 .... going to ring more places today, thank you everyone xxx
lesleyjane
I am in NW9 Kingsbury and will help all I can. Exact location of where they went missing?? Can't print off posters til Sat night, hope there is good news before then. Are they likely to go to local park where you walk them?? Let postmen/cab offices know, also Mayhew Animal Home in Kensal Green and NAWT in Watford, vets etc if not already done. I will tell all my doggie friends.
