- I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. As a flatcoat owner I know they are very, very special dogs and you will miss him so much. At least he passed while enjoying his walk, from PDs view point not a bad way to go. I'm sure he'll be watching over you at this difficult time and his spirit will be with you to comfort you. - I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Owners, it would appear that PD knew, as dogs often know when it is time. I suspect he had to go there because if he had stayed with you, it would have been too hard to leave you, and it was his time. Please know, he diedwent to heaven knowing how much he was loved and was secure in that love to be able to do this. God bless you and PD - you will always be together forever! Dogs never leave those they love - I promise you. x

- I am very sorry to say that PD has been found in the maize but not alive. He appears to have died suddenly, maybe of heart failure. Our sympathy to his devoted family.

- I have given the email address to send photo so it should be arriving in admin later. Currently everyone is out searching the maize field. Have given scenting advice. I hope to go and help later, but there has been lots of rain and I don't know what chance we have of picking up a clear scent trail.Last edited: 2011-08-27 09:51:47 by Owl
