We also had a dumped shih tzu - we had 6 happy years with him. These dogs need a lot of care but are worth it. Good luck little boy - you will do OK with Southern Shih Tzu rescue - that's where we got Louis from!

I am afraid the communications are slow , by the time we pass on any help thas offered (& thanks sooooo much annieb725) things have often changed I didnt even know that he was in foster, so sorry everyone, but keep up the good work xxx

Hi, I had 2 of us sorted to get dog from Swindon to ProDogs but was subsequently told he was in a foster home being assessed and had a forever home waiting, so no transport needed !

ok thanks. Spoke with prodogs Trust last week and they advised me that he ws being moved last Friday into rescue with them. I will ring above number tomorrow. I can get him there or am happy to foster.

one of my dogs is from prodog - good rescue I could offer him a foster place or home if needed

I was wondering the same thing, looks like annieb725 is trying to co-ordinate transportation to his rescue place, is that right? If needed I'm sure Southern Shih Tzu Rescue would be able to help, I'd be happy to transport if needed, but I don't think that's the issue?

Poor little mite. hope he finds a loving new home where his new owners will adore him and spoil him rotten. He deserves it. As for his previous owners they should hang their heads in shame to treat an animal like this. All the luck in the world in your forever home sweetheart and have a great life. Cuddle cuddlexxxxxxx

Hi, I'm the person trying to coordinate picking up this dog and taking to ProDogs but despite sending emails and ringing both the phone nos. above (one has no ring tone and the other no-one answers and no voicemai) have received no replies!!

Pool little soul. It will be good to see him trimmed up so we can start cross posting various sites so see if he has been reported lost. Hopefully someone will come to claim him.

Underneath he is a dear little dog, possibly about 5 years old. He's got sores from the matts pulling on him constantly but these will heal with time. All someone needed to do was to keep him tidy with scissors and a brush..
Trnsport run needed for him anyone?

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
