Update: Issue has been seen by the wonderful staff at Wood Green Animal Shelter, she only needed antiseptic cream for her wounds - most have healed and are likely to be cuts and scrapes from living in the woods. She has had flea and worm treatment. Martin has been advised by the Vet to feed her little and often with bland food - so if you see them out and about don't give her lots of treats! It is medically very important that she is gradually weaned back to her usual diet. Welcome home Issue x

YAY!!! Martin has found Issue!!!! Well, she found him as she was waiting outside his van in the middle of the night! He parked it at the park thinking that she will recognise the van and she did! What a good girl! She is very skinny, she has been attacked by something although the wounds are healing up. I am meeting them this morning. Please move her to Reunited! Thank you xxx

Some good news on Issue! We believe she was seen today at Hinchinbrook Park, Huntingdon. She was very scared, and ran away from the Wood Green Animal Shelter staff who were at an event there. I called the owner who went there to look but unfortunately she was not seen again. It is good to know she is around though as we haven't had any sightings at all until now. She is reported to be skinny, the owner is going back there tomorrow and i will be on hand to help where possible. Come on Issue!

The dog is a female called 'Issue'. She is 3 years old (next week). She is described as white, not golden. She was wearing a high viz yellow collar, her lead was attached to her collar when she ran off, i think the lead may be all in one with the collar but i am not sure. She has a tag on her collar with the owners mobile number. She is microchipped. The car that clipped her at the racecourse was only doing 5mph so owner believes she was not badly hurt but just spooked by this. He searched for four hours on Saturday but no sighting or news. I will send you his phone number tomorrow. He believes she may try to make her way home to Cambridge, so please keep an eye out anyone in the area between Huntingdon and Cambridge. Thank you x
Auntie Katie
Am hoping to get more information on this one - if anybody has seen a lose Yellow Lab in the huntingdon area please let us know. Thank you! x
