Oh nooooo! I just so hate trains! Poor Milly and owners. It is better to know than always wonder, and she would not have suffered, but it is so awful to go thru such a tragedy. So terribly hard. God bless Milly and her loved ones. Safe in the arms of God until they meet again. x

I am so sorry to have to report that the body of a spaniel matching Milly's description was found on the railway lines at Church Cross, Wellington. I am trying to find out if her collar has been kept for the owners to identify although it does seem more than likely that this was Milly. There were no further sightings of Milly after the first day and a half that she was missing. RIP little girl.X
