- Still looking. Have you got a better picture of Grubby, perhaps more detail of face? Looking through other found registers and mainly pics of found dogs faces are shown.

- i havn't said before but I gave Grubby to my son Mac when he was 10 yrs old when his dad was battling with cancer. He was a distraction ploy & one that worked wonders gelling a pup with a very lost wee boy. They formed a bond like no other....he is a very special lost dog - hence the reason 'mum' is on the web because Mac is too sad to deal with it. Thank you all so much & a bigger hope that he comes home. fee x

- Drove around Tring, Aston Clinton and Weston Turville with hubbie looking for Grubby and Poppy, but no luck I'm afraid. Have you put up lots of posters? I've just suggested to Poppy's owner that you get BIG signs made up and mount them on boards staked in the ground, which would be easier for passing traffic to see. Hope you get some good news soon x

- Angus, thank you, Mac spent the night Grubby went missing around some holes & also dug the following morning. There was never a sound from any hole & he returns daily first light & through the night just in case. also left his coat near by. I hope Poppy is safe too for Barney & Ozzies mum. fee x

- I'm out that way tomorrow morning with my hubbie, so we'll keep a look out for Grubby and also Poppy x
- 2011-09-08 22:43 Angus
- Fee - if you think he may be down a hole then its possibly best to go out at silly o'clock ( armed with a spade )when it is very quiet and listen to see if you can hear any whimpering or scratching noise - if you can then getting digging very gently - sometimes the dog will emerge from the hole its self when it looses some weight - look at Jake's story http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=16426

- again a huge thank you to you all - no there's nothing yet, Mac (my son) has put up posters & ads in local shops & told EVERYONE he can. Biggest fear is that he may have chased something down a hole - can't bear to think it.Fingers crossed that not the case. fee x

- Any development today?
- 2011-09-07 20:13 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- A work colleague said this isn't far from the canal. How about putting posters up along the towpath incase he headed that way? Another colleague also lives that way and will look out for him. Is there any chance he could have chased something down a hole?
- 2011-09-07 10:10 jacks

- Mine covered quite an area. I lost her in Ashridge - she ran off in a panic and she was seen in Dagnall, Hudnal Corner, Little Gaddesden, Potten End and ended up in Northchurch - nearly back where she went missing. They have a strong sense of smell and direction, so if he is used to going tothe farm he may well find his own way back or just have got shut in somewhere. I had a lot of advice, but one was to leave his bed down near where he went from so he knows you have been back and he may well stay put. Another was to dump the contents of your vacuum cleaner on the ground and stay in the car overnight - a bit extreme, but it worked for one lady.
It is an awful feeling, but just keeping searching was helpful in itself. - 2011-09-06 17:37 fee
- thank you so much to everyone, it makes me feel so humble that there is that much care & support out there. Grubby was on a farm rooting about at the time whilst my son was working next to him. it's not like him to disappear but he does chase rabbits. My son is distraught, i hope we find him. thank you all very very much.

- Will keep a look out and told a lady I saw walking earlier who lives in Marsworth. I know how it feels, one of mine was missing for 42 hours only a few weeks ago. Have faith, keep looking and put up posters and hand out your number to everyone. I made little business card sized slips with a photo of her, her name and my number, so I could hand them out. What were the circumstances of him going - was he frightened or was he chasing - also where was he last seen and in what direction was he heading?
Hope he comes home soon... - 2011-09-06 15:31 funkydawgi
- Been in Aston Clinton Park for about 2 1/2 hrs looking for Poppy & read your post before I went out. Sadly i found neither of them but I will continue looking

- Sorry to see that GRUBBY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (32490)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
