I see dogs running loose on the promenade all the time, they run in front of bikes (I've nearly come off a few times)...but dogs are supposed to be kept on leads. I'd never allow my girl off leash in this area for HER OWN SAFETY. I'm really tired of people who don't think and more tired of those who don't tag and chip.

HI, HAVE YOU TRIED PHONING ST. JAMES'VET ON WALTER RD(JUST OPPOSITE ST JAMES CHURCH). I THINK THEY SOMETIMES GET STRAYS THERE. ALSO THE AREA AROUND THE GUILD HALL, BRYNYMOR RD, BRYN RD AREA HAS A LOT OF BED SITS AND POSTERS AROUND THIS AREA MAY HELP AS ITS LIKELY SOMEONE MAY HAVE TAKEN HIM IN.

I've been speaking with Suzie via fb and offering advice. Hundreds of posters need to be put up to find this boy. Come on Mac, where are you? Stay safe until you're found little boy.x.

It might be worth the owner placing an add in Swansea's South Wales Evening Post as lots of people buy the Post in Swansea area. I live in this area and its somewhere I personally would look if I had found a dog and didnt want to risk taking it to the pound in case it was PTS.Last edited: 2011-09-08 22:17:10 by Swat

Told them where the Drop off point was for the Swansea Strays at Morfa Road last night, and they had already been there, just told them to check adjoining councils, which they will do tommorow

Given Suzie numbers of pound, local rescues, the dog was lost by a dog walker who was advertising on gum tree, asked her if she wanted me to speak to the dog walker, but she says she has it in hand, posters are being put up, the dog walker has been out a bit looking for the dog, he should be out as much as possible, wonder if hes insured ??

Details of Swansea dog pound can be found here. Might be worth trying Neath Port talbot too. http://www.swansea.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=1105

Good luck, he looks a little beauty.
