- Any news on Whiskey x
- 2011-09-17 11:03 BBKM
- What a terrible situation to be in. This is so sad what has happened, both to the rabbit and Whiskey disappearing. I would go back to the rabbit's owner and appeal to him as a pet owner to tell you the truth so you can have closure or hopefully keep looking for Whiskey. Many may disagree with me here but a pet dog becomes a family member, a very close companion much more than a rabbit ever would. I would be distraught if that happened to my rabbit but would never dream of hurting the animal that done it. Hope Whiskey is safe and found soon xx RIP little rabbit and run free at the bridge xLast edited: 2011-09-17 11:04:11 by BBKM

- Still know news. The dog warden suggested I contact the police. I explained what happened and they went round to the neighbours to see if she was locked up. He couldn't really help because the neighbour claimed she ran off after he threw a large rock at her. I think she's either been driven somewhere and dumped or he's killed her.
She ran into his garden and killed his new pet rabbit. Wrong I know, my sister was walking whisky to her horse just past his house. She was too scared to go in his yard to look for her because he was screaming and wailing at her and presumably whisky. She never came out of his garden again but whiskys mother jess did.
I hope she turns up somewhere but she vanished so close to home, she would have run home again if she was scared. She's not locked up at home and never wanders, just sits in the garden with her mum. She knows her way all round the area and used to walk home from the stables right past where she vanished when she got bored watching my sister horse riding.
I've asked the neighbour outright several times what he's done and he just flinches and looks away saying "I haven't touched your dog" but admits throwing a rock at her.
Thank you all for your help I really hope she has run out of his garden like he claims and turns up soon. Alasdair - 2011-09-11 01:33 BBKM
