- Blue has been bought back to his owners today by the lady that found him and I had a lovely text from Blues owner Katy which goes as follows .......'just letting you know we have got Blue back at 5pm. We are thriled to peices and cannot thank you enough for all your help with this. Without doglost we probably would never have got Blue back. So thankyou so much, you've made a family very happy.'

- FANTASTIC news !! Through information received the people who picked Blue up have now been tracked down. Snce being contacted they have looked at the photo of Blue on doglost and can confrim it is him they picked up !They do not live in the area he went missing from but will be returning him to his owners on Friday when they will be back in the area. I won't move Blue over to Reunited until I have confirmation from his owners that he is safely back with themLast edited: 2011-09-28 10:30:57 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- Blues owners have text me to say the sighting of BLue being picked up came from a very reliable source and that he was seen to be picked on Ackworth Road near to Purston Park which is only a couple of minutes from his home.A man was driving the van and a woman got out of the van and picked BLue up and got back in the van putting Blue on her knee.

- BUMPED as we now have a report that someone was seen to bundle Blue into a white van on the day he went missing ! Have left a message with his owner to try and get some more details on this.

- We have today registered Blue as stolen! Had report from a very trusted source that he was seen being bundled in to a White van on the day he went missing. So this is now being treated as theft by the police.

- This is the best pic we have of him I'm afraid. Blue is only small, the paddling pool is very small so makes him look big.

- Do you have any other clearer pics?? Saw some teenagers walking a dog today - wasnt out of place with them but the ears on the dog made me look twice. The dog was small greyhound size though- definately not whippet- Blue looks a big dog

- Boot sale at Ackworth Cricket Club tomorrow, should have people from all over area- also ask Farmer Copleys if they will display posters as very popular- so is chippy opposite park .

- Just had news that a group of children saw blue in Purston park last night so is quite possible he is still in the area. My partner has just gone to look now to see if he's still there. Any info however insignificant is appreciated and will be followed upon! Thank you. Katy

- There has been no news of Blue since he went missing. He vanished from his garden whilst his owner was at home and it is not certain if he escaped or was stolen. Stray kennels and dog wardens have been contacted. His owners have done some postering and I have suggested that they put as many posters up as they can to raise maximum public awareness.

- My earlier comment seems not be here - anyway, I was advised of this lost dog a few days ago, and suggested they register here if not found. I have emailed the link to a couple of people I know who walk their dogs in the Purston area. I am away on holiday on Tuesday, so cannot go over there. Jytte
