4 days ago, Kate Morfoot posted "The owners still haven’t been found. The dogs are not chipped. So they are now with the Dog Warden at North Tuddenham. If the owners are not found in 7 days they will be found new homes. So if anyone wants two gorgeous labradors- check in with North Tuddenham Dog Wardens. In the meantime Lets hope they are reunited with their owners. "

2 black labs found (34436) in Milton Keynes.
Do we know if these girls are still missing?
tucker
Just noticed a found notice up in the co-op in Botesdale (off A143 other side of Diss) this afternoon... sure it was an older black lab found 20th sept in Redgrave. It may have been reunited long ago, but the notice is still up and thought it was worth mentioning in case they didn't advertise antwhere else. Sorry, I didn't take down the telephone number.xxx

Thank you sharon57blue I have contacted the owner.
sharon57blue
There is an older female black labrador, greying on muzzle, at Mutts in Distress, which is in Essex, not available for rehoming until 20th, so guess that she's only been picked up recently.

Snippets of both interviews (Anna's and Helen's) or just a general warning about dog thieves targeting the area are on every hour on Radio Norfolk. Nice one ladies.....hope it brings home these girlies and any other missing in our area.....and warns others about keeping their dogs secure and out of sight of passing scumbags....Never leave them outside shops or in cars etc etc Put them indoors if you are going out....gone are the days when anything is safe from set of bolt croppers....

The owner has just been on Radio Norfolk speaking about her 2 dogs and also warning people about the amount of dogs being stolen in the area.
I am waiting for a call back from the Radio Station so I can also speak to the listeners regarding stolen dogs
Hopefully this will bring some news of these 2 girls.xx

These girls are on twitter and being circulated.

Have been in contact with the owner and it is her number on the posters now, I have also added REWARD to the details above.
Owner's have done everything possible to get these girlies home and it is a case of now going even further a field to spread the word
I have made up posters and flyers and E-mailed them on to the owner.

Thanks muns for this info, I did look on Poplar Farm Kennels for the owner's contact number but found just the police number.

The only way I have contacted her is via Facebook, when she posted these 2 on the missing Dog Lost group for Norfolk and Suffolk and I did send her my phone number. At least her dogs are on here so E-mail alerts have gone out to helpers local to the area.
Hopefully she contact me as soon as she can.

Heard a short piece on radio Norfolk news at 2pm Basically said the police are looking for thieves who stole 2 labrador dogs south of Norwich. No real info but bulletins often vary at different times in detail. Also the lady has put their details on Poplar Farm Kennels website but again no phone number other than the police one.....Last edited: 2011-09-12 16:56:50 by muns

No problem BonBon.

Owner's haven't rang me back yet, I have taken this info off facebook:
My 2 black bitch labradors were stolen yesterday from their kennels in my garden in Alburgh nr Harleston. If anyone has any information please private message me or phone the police on 0845 456 4567. They were taken during the day and were padlocked up as well. they are very much loved and sorley missed!

Hopefully I will be in contact with the owners tomorrow.
BonBon
Helen - sorry I am wrong. Alburgh is correct! It is only about 5 miles from Bungay and is on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders. Was getting confused - which isn't difficult these days!

Thanks BonBon, I will check this when the owner contacts me x

Believe this should read Aldeburgh? Seem to recall two similar labs being stolen a few years ago not far from here but can't find them on site. Think one was dumped back in owner's garden and the other found in Essex, but could be wrong. Make sure you poster far and wide asap.

Sorry to see that MOTHER AND DAUGHTER STOLEN is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (32628)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
