So pleased there was a happy ending :)
Lucy
We, that is my dqaughter Zoe and I and of course Lucy and little Jimmy (b/w pap dog) would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who helped us. Especially to Sue Smith in Truro who gave me great advice and kept me on track. We are back home now to be greeted by my equally grateful husband Peter and the rest of the Papillon pack. Many many thanks. from Mary-Lou and the whold of the Duggan family.

Text from owner at 4.50.a.m. this morning: LUCY IS HOME!
No more details at present. Owner (Marylou) will call later - when she has had some rest!
Just heard the story: Lucy was sighted several times, around the dog walk on one side of the holiday park, and on the golf course the other side. The most frequent sightings were around the dog walking area. Briefly, this is what owner Marylou then did: Following the scenting advice, Marylou spread diluted wee extensively around the entrance to the dog walk, then drove (the wrong way!) slowly back down to the park itself, spraying the verges! She then encircled the caravan with the same. She finished off with a heavy based dish full of sardines, pilchards, etc. outside the caravan. Early this morning, she heard barking, and Lucy was outside the caravan. What a story! Welcome home Lucy, and huge thanks to the wonderful people of Perranporth for getting stuck in from day 1 to help with the search.

Possible sighting of Lucy by security at Perran Sands holiday park. Have advised setting up a feeding station around the area of the sighting. It looks as if she may be trying to get back to the caravan where she was staying. Bumping her up, and have everything crossed for her.

am a little further afield in Zelah so it is unlikely a little 'un will travel 5 miles, but have put a poster up at the bus stop

Added to Pirate fm's Lost and Found and also on K9Crusaders lost dogs page. Have posted extensively on Facebook. Let's hope this lovely girl gets home safe soon.

Well done everybody, for your efforts to spread the word. I have been able to speak to Lucy's owner now, and it seems Lucy ran up part of the coastal path in her fright, then vanished. someone reported seeing her run back down again, but the owner, who was right behind her, said she did not see Lucy come back down. Anyone with knowledge of rabbit/fox holes or badger setts up around the dunes, please look out.

The pet shop in Perranporth are really good and will put up a poster I'm sure as well as the pub on the beach, also get posters to all the local holiday camps around the area as well as the golf club, Perran sands backs onto the sand dunes, to the right of Perran Sands camp as you look at the entrance is a lane that leads to three or four parking bays where people park to walk the dogs on the dunes there are posts you can put posters up along all of these parking bays, its a very popular dog walking location for locals and holiday makers. Hoping she comes hope safe and sound and quickly.

Have alerted the local boarding kennels in Perranporth, who are in turn contacting more local people.

Lucy is on Facebook, too. Apparently Lucy was walking on Perranporth beach when she was frightened by some huskies, and ran off. Perranporth is still busy at this time of year, so there should be plenty of help in searching for little Lucy.
