Just back in the house. I received a phone-call at about 11.30; a farmer near Lochmaben said that he has sighted a border collie. Jumped in car and called neighbour who did likewise.To cut a long story short both dogs appeared from a wood (about 5 miles from us). After 4 days away Logan is filthy, bedraggled and disoriented but he has had a good feed and is now sleeping in his bed! I believe Cassie, the collie, is doing the same!
The community help and spirit up here has been nothing short of amazing and we owe a depth of gratitude to all those helpers who scoured the countryside and put up notices on, oh so many telegraph poles!
