- Other Info Logan last seen around 6pm on Saturday 10 September 2011 when he went missing with neighbouring collie, Cassie, with whom he is friendly. Possible sighting at 2am on Sunday morning of 11 September near Shieldhill when a retriever and collie moved off road on to grass verge to let car pass.

Just back in the house.I received a phone-call at about 11.30; a farmer near Lochmaben said that he has sighted a border collie. Jumped in car and called neighbour who did likewise.To cut a long story short both dogs appeared from a wood (about 5 miles from us). After 4 days away Logan is filthy, bedraggled and disoriented but he has had a good feed and is now sleeping in his bed! I believe Cassie, the collie, is doing the same! The community help and spirit up here has been nothing short of amazing and we owe a depth of gratitude to all those helpers who scoured the countryside and put up notices on, oh so many telegraph poles!
