- It has now been established that this dog entered the UK legally, this now means he does not have to do time in quarantine. Thanks to lovely people his kennel bill will now be paid and a home has been offered.

- Hi, I spoke to the council earlier about this lovely boy, to see if he needed help finding a rescue space, and was advised that someone has come forward to cover the quarantine cost and offer him a home. So hopefully all is sorted :-)

- LOOKS A LOVELY DOG. WHATS HIS STORY-HOW DID HE COME TO BE IN THIS SITUATION? ANY POSSIBILITY A NATIONAL PAPER COULD RUN HIS STORY-YOU COULD GET OFFERS OF HELP THAT WAY.

- O no poor chap. I'm sure if his story gets in local papers then people will donate for his quarantine or even an owner may come forward. He looks a gorgeous boy. Would a lab rescue be able to help?

- No one has come forward for this boy. An appeal has gone out on midwest radio for information on possible owners and to try and raise money to support his required quarantine stay. This will cost approx £1800. He has a microchip but it is foreign and even after massive efforts we are unable to find out who is the owner. It has to be assumed this dog may have entered the UK illegally.
