- Ros... I am so pleased for you... tears from me, couldn't believe it when I just got home from work, turned on and Cariad was on the top of the blue page.. I was so worried about her... we have many drains around us in Hull and some of them are very deep, we pulled a young white staffie called Mickey from one a couple of months ago, he was trying to get to our dogs to play and just took a huge leap into nowhere, luckily only afew scratches and alot of mud on all of us... stay at home now little lady xxxx

- There are a couple of fairly large haulage companies close by, try asking them to display a poster in the transport offices. I would think that you have already tried Jay Gee dog sanctuary which is also really close.Last edited: 2011-09-16 12:30:38 by Susie

- Still no sightings of her. I am trying to organise helpers to come search the local dykes around the property. I fear as she cannot see she is trapped in long grass or has fallen somewhere and so cannot find her way out and back.

- Thank you Helen and Susie. I have phoned all the vets in Spalding and Boston area but she hasn't been handed in. Hope she is found soon, she is far too old to be out wandering.

- Have spoken to owner. Being blind and deaf Cariad is not prone to wandering far. Owner is busy searching all the ditches and dykes in the area as she is surrounded by farmland that also backs on to the busy A17. Farmers and dog warden have been notified and owner is going to call Lincs FM to put out an appeal. Posters have been made and put up in local area. Will send info sheets and flyers.
