jenny4. I do so agree, there should be stricter controls on who can walk the dogs in kennels. I actually applied to do voluntary dog walking at my local kennels and was told only the staff are permitted to walk the dogs because of you`ve guessed it. Health and Safety.

So pleased Carlso is back home, now hopefully the Rescue will review there policies allowing strangers to walk dogs unaccompanied., for the humans as well as the dogs welfare......

Latest update on Tameside Animal Shelter FB page...Carlos has now been found in Stamford park with a Asian man. Carlos is safe and well .Thank you so much for all your support.

Have spoken to Lorraine at TAS. The police are not visiting the shelter until Saturday morning at 10am, no officers available ?? The information regarding the sightings will be passed onto them.

I have passed on the info about the sighting in Hattersley as they were not aware of the post on FB (as per Jans previous post).

They have had a phonecall this morning of a sighting near the canal Dukinfield Rd, Newton, Hyde. Two mixed race young men were seen with a puppy and a dog of Carlos' description. When the dog jumped up he shouted 'get down Carlos'.

The volunteer who spoke to them didn't mention an accent but gave the following description. 2 men of mixed race, one in early 20's with bad acne and one in late 20's, both wearing sports/tracksuit clothes. They spent quite a lot of time in the kennel with Carlos getting to know him first.

No one has yet been to the address that was given by them, they are hoping the police will do this tomorrow.

Have recommended poster as much as possible, especially in the areas where Carlos has been sighted, to try and get the police to take it seriously and to maybe visit the address that was given by them. Will ring them tomorrow when the police have been.

Think I saw the man described chasing Carlos (off the lead) down the main road by the shops/library in Hattersley at 3pm yesterday. There were two young blokes with white dogs on leads who I think shouted after him. Sorry I can't be much more specific than this. The man was as described (mixed race, tall I think) and the dog looked just like Carlos

Thanks Jayne, he may have been spotted on the Hattersley Estate, Hyde SK14 at around 4pm, will ring them shortly and get further details and update.

Thanks Jayne :) Saw Carlos on the shelter FB page. This is my local animal shelter. I have already got the details from them via FB and will ring them tomorrow. There may have been a sighting of Carlos this evening. Hope we can help get this boy back to them.
