- thanx dog lover, very helpful re vet details, sent some emails to most of the Bristol vets yesterday but will send more today. Also going top target Radio Bristol next week and Evening post .. They were insured but the NFU have a separate additional policy for 'lost dogs'. As ours have always been so secure and tagged chipped I didn't think we would need this, never thought about the possibility of theft :( .. thanks again..

- Hi Taluhla, If you look to the right of this page you will find a link to " Find any UK vet " ( green box), Also just a thought but are the dogs insured as they (insurance company) may pay for newspaper ads, ( when the insured dog is missing or stolen!)It would be a good idea to get them both in the papers, Bristol Evening Post ? Also if you are on Facebook you can set up a page for them as Stolen. I've sent posters out to many rescues in the Bristol area ( as i'm local & friend of Dinkydoodle). I hope your big boy recovers soon, poor fella. Anything else I think of i'll post here, Keep up the great work postering it will pay off.

- Thanks x .. have this afternoon put posters up around Bristol. The big boy ripped his stitches yesterday so he's back to the vets this pm but otherwise he's in very good spirits - typical GSP!. Does anybody know of a quick way to get all the email addresses of the vets in Bristol, other than trawling the internet? Thanks again for all the help and support.. xLast edited: 2011-09-18 20:19:34 by taluhla

- I've put both posters up in my pet shop in Iron Acton. Although we are a way away I do have lots of working dog customers that may be offered these 2 lovely dogs and will be able to keep an eye out. I've also alerted a person I know that has access into our local traveller sites.
Fingers crossed both are found soon! - 2011-09-16 10:36 rubyjet
