Yeh!! Had they seen the posters?? Brilliant that they did the right thing and returned Belle to you, glad she has been well looked after, it could would have been awful if she had been sold to the "wrong' type!! Any chance of finding the lads who sold her on? Suppose even then there's no proof they took her, tho. x

BELLE is HOME !! Just received this lovely message from Jackie : i am really pleased to say that belle has now been reunited with us,i received a phone call at 7pm to-nite saying that she had been sold by 2 boys to a lady in failsworth who's dog had passed away,so i was met by this lady's daughter and yes it was belle. she has been looked after and went potty when she saw me,so many thanks to all who helped in the search for her.and to all those people looking for their lost pet do not give up .......

Fantastic news. I am so pleased for Jackie and her family. They have been working so hard to get Belle back and it has paid off. Have recommended they now get Belle microchipped. Welcome Home Belle, stay safe now sweetie :) xx

Have spoken to a lady from the above mobile number just for an update..Belle is still missing with no sightings..MDH was visited on Tuesday but no luck..I have suggested Leigh Cat and Dogs Home as another rescue to check as she isnt microchipped..Ive suggested re visting the area she went missing from (some grass land at the back of the pub) and maybe work around a triangle formation..There are lots of posters and many of people from the pub know who she is..Have checked AW site and nothing on there...

Have just sent a message to Belles owners. They are still visiting MDH every couple of days and are back there this afternoon. ~They are also busy putting posters up everywhere, doing a great job. They have today spoke to the warden who thinks a dog found may be a match for Belle. Keeping my fingers crossed for them :)Last edited: 2011-09-20 13:28:22 by Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
