- So very, VERY happy to tell you all that Yazmin is now safely back at home!!!!
She has some very sore paws with large pieces of skin completely worn away and other bits of pad outer layer hanging off but as far as we can tell (so far) other than that she is OK. Don't think she was hit by any cars after all, as Phil had first thought when he first spotted her laying down in a field and then when she limped off. Just the effects of walking on such sore worn out paws. She was very wet from all the rain today and covered in burrs and sticky dabs but once she snapped out of her panic and realised it was us, she jumped in the back of the van with our other dogs and covered us in kisses. And she got covered in kisses & tears right back! She is now curled up on the sofa next to me in a nice fleecy blanket fast asleep. Thank you all so, so much for all your support, help and ideas and to Julia for keeping us sane when we felt so utterly despondent earlier this evening. Words can not express how much your support meant to us during the worst 24 hours of our lives. - 2011-09-20 19:46 Riverlady

- So pleased there has been a sighting. Let's hope Yazmin gives herself up so her dad can get some sleep tonight.

- Yazmin sighted at 15:30 at the woods by Tattershall lakes. To anyone assisting the search today, please join the owners there, where they are trying to limit ways for her to leave the area or phone them on their mobile numbers to see how you can best help

- Have just spoken to the owners. Yazmin is a sled dog so could have run for miles. She set off in the direction of Horncastle. Her dad has been out all night searching but sadly there have been no sightings of her yet. They have contacted the local radio, dog wardens vets, schools, taxi firms etc. Have given them the number for the dog pound and advised that they get hundreds of posters and flyers out both locally and further afield.Last edited: 2011-09-20 10:17:30 by AlisonH
