- Apologies Sarah, Dont know why i presumed DW = Man. Should have known no man could do the same job as a woman that good. Rosalie is with our rescue YT & TBR and is a fantastic lady. Hmm...... Maybe we could send both of you to Belfast, show them how its done. lol. Thank you again for been wonderful. x

- Ha, you'd be lucky Sarah! If you're going to Hawaii, we're all coming too! :)

- This little girl is now in the safe hands of the lovely Rosalie and feeling so much better. Thank you all for the lovely offers and nice things you have said. I always treat the strays as I would like mine to be treated if they were in the same position. I am lucky to have brilliant managment and a fantastic vet and kennels.
I am not sure about going to Belfast but anyone can send me to Hawaii!!!! - 2011-09-25 00:41 Dainty Daisy
- Hope this lovely girl fully recovers and finds her forever home. Sarah, what a lovely and generous act you are doing for this little one.
Scrappy2010, I agree, about sending Sarah to Belfast........even if it is only to show some compassion and to tell the truth!!!!
Apologies, for hijacking this thread, you can read Lennox's story at: http://www.savelennox.co.uk/ (although, it is currently being updated). Or if you go to Facebook and type in: save lennox, it will give you some information.

- I don't know who Tara is but if she is referring to Lennox in Belfast, then yes it is the same one. Unfortunatly we still have another week to wait for the verdict. We (everyone who signed the petition) managed to get over 100,000 + signatures yesterday on the save lennox petition @ 12.00 Midday while the case was been heard, which means we have enough to get it debated in parliment and hopefully end BSL for all dogsLast edited: 2011-09-24 11:18:06 by Scrappy2010

SO PLEASED THIS LITTLE GIRL IS FEELING BETTER-WONDER HOW SHE CAME TO BE WANDERING AT HER AGE. - 2011-09-24 08:04 Scrappy2010
- Can we send Basildon DW to Belfast pls to teach their DW's looking after Lennox how to do there job pls. What a lovely man, wish all DW's were as kind, and doing it because they love animals and not just for the pay packet. Thank you. x

- Hi Rosalie if you could drop me an email I would be very very grateful sarah.moran@basildon.gov.uk or if after 5 today I will pass admin my personal details for you. Thank you all for the nice comments and good wishes. She had a bath last night and feels so much better for that, I am just waiting till she is able and stitches come out and then she can have a proper bath groom. She is so dirty still.

- Bless her heart. I am so glad that she is more comfortable now. She deserves a lovely home where she can be given the love and care she has clearly not had for a long while - and it doesnt look like she will be short of offers. Stay safe and well little one xxx

- What a great DW Basildon has!! Glad to see it looks as if this little one will have a happy retirement home soon, good luck to her.

- Poor girl. Maybe she is a long-term lost pet? Perhaps one who has been stolen and then dumped. Will search through the lost dog sites, although it does appear that she does have a couple of homes waiting for her, thank goodness!

- I foster for the yorkieandtoybreedrescue.co.uk I live in Brentwood, I have 2 elderly yorkies, with cataracts and hearing not good. I also have quite a few other dogs myself, but would gladly give her a home with us or foster her long term if it helps. Maybe her owner is elderly and does not know how to look for her. I do keep the older ones seperate from the others for a while in the day.The older yorkie is 16 and had 28 teeth out last year.

- POOR LITTLE MITE. WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO HER. I WOULD LOVE TO HELP BUT I LIVE IN SWANSEA. I HAVE A 14 YEAR OLD JRT WHO IS VERY GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS. IF YOU CANT FIND A HOME LOCALLY COME BACK TO ME.

- Thanks for asking Hamish & Katy, she is doing ok, but had to have lots of teeth removed, her poor mouth was so rotten and sore but she can now eat again, she was so hungry. She also had a large lump removed from her neck. She did not come round so well after the op but is resting at home with me.
I have tried every combination for her tag number but all have drawn a blank. I will now concentrate my efforts on finding a retirement home for her. She is going blind but gets about just fine, she has cronic arthritis and will need pain management for that and all her water works are ok no accidents. She is still playful but will need a quiet home. If anyone knows of a nice home local to Basildon/Thundersley please let me know. - 2011-09-21 22:32 hamish&katy
