Really pleased to see Rossi back home with his owners. I suppose you will be a bit spoiled now b y your very relieved owners. And why not? Stay safe now Rossi:-)xxx
Yorkiegirl
Thank you all once again for the help & support I received over the last 17 days (which have seemed like forever). I am sure right now my flock of sheep are waiting patiently for that 'mad' woman walking around shouting Rossi at hedges/trees etc. I am not able to go into too much detail at the moment about how/where he was arrested, but he is safe, well, tired & having the chop as I type!!!!!
AlisonH
Thanks for the text Helen this has made my day. WELL DONE to the policeman who caught little Rossi. Hope both Rossi and Yorkiegirl have a good nights sleep tonight.Last edited: 2011-10-06 17:14:37 by AlisonH

Thank you, bee. Best thing is for you to text Yorkiegirl on the mobile number given above. Another pair of eyes will be most welcome. Rossi was seen again today but by the time yorkiegirl got there he had gone.
bee
I am not far from village where lost, if you want any help in the day/evening with lookouts/sightings I can help, can admin send my contact mobile no to Yorkiegirl if needed ?

Seen 3 times today, while his mum was taking another dog to vet! He does pick his moments. Fortunately he seems to be staying around the same area. Food is being left for him, he has water and some shelter there, BBQ is a good idea but I want to get my trap over there this week. The police were great last night, they slowed the traffic while he was buzzing around on the A15.
AlisonH
Come on Rossi give yourself up you're far too small to be out there alone. Yorkiegirl if you have a rough idea of the area maybe it's time to set up a disposable BBQ and cook some nice smelly sardines or sausages to lure him out.Last edited: 2011-10-04 08:09:50 by AlisonH

Rossi has just been spotted running up and down the A15. Thankfully he seems to have gone back into the fields now.
AlisonH
So pleased there has been another sighting. I know Yorliegirl is working so hard to get little Rossi home.

Sighting yesterday afternoon, from a landowner who has been feeding him. He hasn't been back there since, but let's hope he visits there tomorrow. I'm going to bump the page for recent sighting.
DogLostOwl
He's either been let go or escaped, ellejay, as another sighting has been reported also on Wednesday. This was a different village but he headed back to the same place. Some hair of his has been found on a fence. We have a good idea as to where he is camped out, and it's safe so we don't want to flush him out but lure him. His companion's blanket has been taken there and another dog from the same house has helpfully done some scent marking where the hair was found. Food has been left and a barbecue will be done if landowner gives permission.
ellejay
Yorkiegirl, take a BBQ ( them small tin ones) with sausages and do it early morning and late night, get as many people as you can in different points to where he has been sighted.

Dogs normally come out very early hide all day then out again late evening.

Scenting is the key, if he has been spotted somewhere.

It has worked with a few of our missing dogs down south, the lure of meat will get them out of where they been hiding.

If someone has got him, you need to get as many posters far and wide incase they sell him on outta area.

Get all the girls from your site to print of posters to stick round their way and their local vets.

Pray he is home soon xx

Just going to bump to top for sighting of Rossi running loose in fields in a neighbouring village, don't know which one at present.

Thank you, I will put any erroneous posts right then.
AlisonH
Rossi is still missing. It was his blind companion dog that was found.

Rumours are circulating on FB that this little one was found Last Friday. Does anyone know?

Rossi is companion and guide to Kacey, the dog who was dumped on the A15. Kacey has no sight in one eye and very little in the other. If it had not been for the efforts of a couple of drivers on the A15 who held up the traffic to catch him, he would not have survived. He really needs Rossi back.
AlisonH
Really hope he is found soon. I know you are working so hard to find Rossi.
Yorkiegirl
Still no sightings of Rossi by anyone. Got posters up all over the village & surrounding areas. Targeted the schools. If I am out landline does not have an answer phone & where I live mobile reception really is also hit & miss but that does have a voicemail that I will pick up. I have the postman & dustman looking out for him & also the estate owner has instructed his game keepers & estate managers to look out for him. Thank you for all the support I have received
AlisonH
Police believe Rossi was stolen as there are marks on the gate panels that look like someone has climbed over. Posters have gone up in the surrounding area.
AlisonH
Called the landline again but still no answer so have sent a text.
