Update from Wilbur's owner (on FB): Just wanted to let everyone know Wilbur was picked up this morning and laid to rest in my friends woodlands, he had been hit by a train right next to Northfield train station and was first spotted on Monday. This has been one of the most distressing situations we have ever been through and I can't thank you all enough for your support at this very hard time, the work you do is amazing and I will do all I can to help you guys in the future with any lost dogs. R.I.P WIlbur my wonderful companion you will never be forgotten and missed forever

So sad, run free at the bridge little one xx

Sadly a dog has been found on the rail lines nearby. Owner is waiting for someone to collect the little dog to confirm if it's Wilbur or not.
