- Hi,
Poppy is my friend's dog and he has only just returned from abroad. Rather a horrid shock to find that she has gone missing from kennels. Poppy has a scar on her right rear hip where she was sewn up after being bitten. She may also have a small scar on her left fore flank. She is mainly white with brindle/ginger brown colouring. She does not have a microchip.
Thank you. - 2011-09-25 11:40 mumstaxi

- Loopylurcher. I will try to get a picture, but do not think it is poppy. The nervous and quiet personality traits certainly do not match. The one we have (temp named Mable), is very outgoing and bouncy!
Also, is Poppy Chipped? "Mabel" definately does not have a chip, she was wanded from nose to tail to try and find one.Last edited: 2011-09-25 00:53:35 by jgsmuzzy - 2011-09-25 00:47 jgsmuzzy
- Jackalee,
Yes, it will be that entry. I phoned it through! - 2011-09-24 21:22 LoopyLurcher
- Any chance she could be Poppy whippet lost in Bucks but from Oxford? I know it's a long way away but she might have been picked up & dumped later? Difficult to tell without photo...

- El's mum, have looked at your post, and I am afraid the dog we have is not Luci, the colouring and patching is very different. Sorry

- Hi,
The dog is not chipped, and has no tattoo. She is in good health, but we cannot tell whether she has been speyed or not, although it looks like she may have had pups.
At present, she is up at our farm, staying with the 3 terriers up there, and has already been well accepted.
If no-one comes forward, we will take her on, so as to not burden the rehoming groups.
Thanks - 2011-09-24 11:57 Unknown
- Have spoken to the finder and the dog has been taken to the vets but is not chipped..There have been travellers in the area that may have dumped the dog..The finder is keeping the dog at the moment..I have asked him to update this page...
