- Great news. Very pleased. Good old DogLost! Sorry about the Police response. Very poor. Also, perhaps DogLost could advise that 'finders should contact their local Councils immediately or at least have the dog scanned'. Well done Nik.

- Bailey is home!!! I put posters up this morning and we got a call at 2.00pm. The lady has had her since thursday and had contacted the police on Friday. I rang the police Friday also and left my details so they obviously haven't taken any notice of each call. She was quite far away from home alot further than what i thought she would be and she had done it in just a few hours. We are so relieved to have her back and she is no worse for her experience in fact i think she has been spoilt! To anyone else who has lost a dog put as many posters up as you can and put them further a field than you may think. Don't give up.

- Thank you Jackalee & Filwil for your help. We have been out agan tonight to where she was seen last night by the shops at Eskdale but no joy. Have put posters in local shops and places. Will go out again tomorrow and try the local rescues. Fingers crossed she is missed alot.

- Thank you for posting Filwil, good to know that the dog warden van has been in the area. The owners are doing everything you suggested so hopefully they will get some good news soon :)

- Dog Warden van has been around the Tanhouse area all afternoon. No sightings. Local PCSO informed and shown a photo of the breed. Hopefully local posters may lead to a finder reporting it to either the owner, ourselves or the police over the weekend. Owner should keep in touch with LDCH on a daily basis please.

- Have spoken to Nicola, Baileys owner. Bailey has jumped out of a bedroom window and onto a low roof while they were out - determined young lady!! They have contacted all the relevant people and Bailey actually came from Leigh Cats and Dogs Home and they remember her well. Microchip company have been notified.
There have been reports that she was seen last night playing with children near the local shops. Nicola is going to visit the house again when they are home from school.
They are also ready to start postering the area asap. Keeping my fingers crossed that this gorgeous girl is found soon. - 2011-09-30 13:29 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
