Hi. Your entry says that Charlie is neutered. Is that correct?
karen
Any news from Police? Ive been into Pets at Home and they have changed their notice board around. Do you think they might do a big poster thing as Charlie lost on their doorstep and they get loads of people thru the door. Also is there a reward - dont know if this helps or not - but if stolen and they knew there was a reward that might get him back. Still thinking of you all
Sarah
Hi Jan its Sarah - Summers Mum (Golden Retreiver - Boxmoor) Is there anything I can do to help you in search for Charlie! We are all thinking of you
karen
Sorry not heard anything. I dont know what else i can do. Are you looking on websites for dogs for sale too? Thinking of you all. K x

Thanks Karen for your advise and continued help and support. The Boxmoor Magazine have kindly agreed to do an article on Charlie too. but that wont be for another week..Im starting to think i will never get my baby back..im sick with worry..the police are investigating the annonymous phone call apparently they can chase a "with held" number - but its taking ages..keep you posted.
karen
Good to see Charlie in the gazette article. Another thought have you looked on dogs for sale websites. I am told that that is a place people who steal dogs will try to sell them. I have been looking at these websites - pets4homes and dogs.oodle and preloved. My computer not good at mo so takes ages. I will continue to look. Anyone else welcome to do so too. Im looking under all schnausers and mixed breeds any suggestions for what other breed someone might say he is to sell? Praying and hoping for his return.

Just back from Boxmoor i have put 5 posters up on the Moor, also gave out to dog walkers in Berkhamsted and outside Thomas Coram School. Another poster going up at Bridgewater sch. Suggest owners look at Ordance Survey map and contact farms running at the back of Roughdown, also other places to contact - Boxmoor Lodge, Hemel Railway Station, Boxmoor Trust, WEstbrook Hay sch, Bourne End area, Houses in Sugar Lane, Vets in Bovingdon/Chesham,Ashley Green/ The farms should be busy at the mo so lots of people out and about esp early in the day. Also photo doesnt come out well and doesnt really show what a Gt Shnzr looks like. Worth considering another photo? Also cant seem to get poster on FB as i want to send out for all friends in area.
karen
Just back from Boxmoor walk - no posters that i could see. I will try and get up there later with some. Also a chinese whisper that he may have been struck by a car and picked up by white van. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Any more sightings please advise.

Please circulate to volunteers in the HP1 and HP2 areas as well. As on borderline. Also suggest they get a poster up at Petsathome - just up the road, if havent already. Also poster outside all the local schools and pubs in area. Some sch may do a piece in their newsletter. Might be worth contacting the Gazette as well to do a piece. I work at dog training sch in Redbourn and I will put poster up. Also giving poster to Dog walker in Boxmoor for her to get word around too. Good Luck. If you want be to do any local walks - please let me know i am happy to help.

Spoke to Mark this morning, there have been 2 sightings of Charlie in the woods behind the play area in Jocketts Road.
Dog WardenDBC Dog Warden - Sarah
Charlie was lost in the fields behind the old gas works in Boxmoor. I have just spoken to Mark, his owner, who has confirmed he is in touch with the rail network as the line is extremely close. Thankfully they have no sightings of him on the line. Charlie looks like a wolfhound if you didn't realise he is a schnauzer. Charlies Mum and Dad are really worried about him, so please report any sightings no matter how insignificant you think it might be. Thank you!
