re homed from the kennels x
Pawprints Dog RescueJD
So glad he has been rehomed! Neighbark, as far as I am aware Forest Lodge try their hardest to rehome when the 7 days are up...this is not possible all of the time as there is an unprecedented amount of stray/abandoned dogs all over the country. x
Neighbark
I couldn't stand his sad eyes any longer, so rang the kennels first thing today (to ask if I could re-home or foster him) only to be told that this little chap had been re-homed yesterday! Have a happy life little man - I do wish your owners had found you in time.
Neighbark
If he's not too far away from the kennels - could I foster him? - I ask this in order to give the owners more time. Do u ever make exceptions to that rule of 7 days?Last edited: 2011-10-06 01:13:40 by Neighbark
Neighbark
Hi again Angus - Which kennels is this little doggie in? I'm central, might go and see him. His face is identical to one of my Silkies- it's those eyes!!
...but could he have longer than 7 days to give owners longer to find him? - or be fostered, again to give owners longer....???
DogLostAngus
Hi Neighbark, I would say that this one will get re-homed very quickly and easily the kennels have a high re-homing rate - so I don't think that he will be in any danger - I think that he is quite young from his behaviour a bit of a whirly gig in his kennel
Neighbark
Hi Angus, is the doggie likely to be pts once it gets to the 7 days? Is it an older dog? will someone be able to foster it to give its owners longer to find it?

Thanks - have updated - that was what I had written down but he was one of the last I documented

I have this dog listed as a male but it was wearing a pink collar so if it looks familiar please call the kennels for confirmation of sex
