I find it hard to believe what I have read. How can anyone do such horrible things to such a beautiful boy? You're home now, Buddy, no doubt receiving all the tlc you so rightly deserve. Big gentle hugs.

This is just dreadful! Poor little mite. I hope he doesn't have any psychological problems now though? That's a lot for him to go through, but he did it! Well done Buddy; bless him. At least he has a loving family and lucky bin men! Bless you little one. x
DogLostReynard
Welcome home Buddy!

Glad that Buddy is safetly back home but so sorry to read about the condition he was found in. Patterdales are plucky little dogs so hopefully he will soon put all this behind him.
Jackie
What a terrible thing to happen.. poor Buddy... hope he soon settles back in at home and is not fussed by everything that has happened to him...people disgust me sometimes but what ever happens Buddy comes first... stay well now little one xxx

What heartless bastards, low-life vile people! I do hope little Buddy learns to trust again and can forget his awful experience. Again, the microchip proves its worth!
Ros
Poor poor Buddy, I'm so glad you are home safe and well done those bin men and his owners for having him microchipped. How can people be so cruel, it's beyond belief.

Bin men found Buddy having been dumped in a bin in the Tadley/Basingstoke area. His eye is a bit gammy and he's obviously been attacked by dogs. But we are soo happy to have him safe at home now! Thank you to every one for your help and support!
Mollychops
Thanks K9 chum , yes she is a great help, we are so lucky to have her alerting all local peeps and spreading the word re missing dogs
k9chum
The person who does the Old Berks e-mail is away and the person who is covering can not do it. However if Buddy is still missing when that person returns he will certainly be posted as you helped her recover her dog. In the meantime we have a Hunter trials tomorrow so I have printed posters to take with me.

Also suggest you get posters and info to your CC Travellers Liaison Officer.

Have the Police given you a CRIME number Charlotte.
Perhaps if Buddy was doing a lot of barking the scumbags may have taken him for that reason and could have dumped him, so perhaps worth a search of the area(s)
l would suggest getting Buddy posted onto :http://www.animalfinders.co.uk/ & http://www.dogwatchalert.com/
PIPPA 22534 ESS was missing, presumed Stolen from this area also last year!
& WHIZZ 12109 a Patterdale Stolen from SN8 back in 2008 owner has/did some very good contacts!
Good Luck!Last edited: 2011-10-07 09:53:28 by Reynard

Have asked Old Berks Hunt to alert all members on e-mail list. Hope this helps. If anyone knows the right person to ask in the Vine and Craven Hunt then that will be a huge area covered.

Charlotte, can you give me a ring please (Lost Dog 23333 - Smiffy). Between myself and another Doglost member in the area, we have some 'terrier' contacts, and are not so far away from you. There is also an event I would like to take his flyers/posters to.
Charlotte
