This makes me so angry! Why does this always happen with police? Okay, you need to keep on pestering them, morning, noon and night until you get your dog back. If you still have trouble let us know. Go get Benny! x

Have been to the local station tonight to log a complaint but no one there to take it, my details were taken for a duty officer to call me back.... he has just called gone through everything again he is now going to look into it to see what action can be taken and call me back then go from there.

After posters going up we had lots of calls of sightings, one being not too far from where we live after calling the police about this particular one and it seems they had also had a call and attended a property where a dog matching Bennys description was, officers advised the people to hand the dog into the dog warden which to this day they havent done, we visited the property on several occasions but no one answers the door.
I put another call in this evening to police who seem to finally be taking this seriously they are going to try to contact the original person who had what we believe to be Benny and find out who this "friend" is who took Benny to hand him in.
Thank you to Jayne for all the advice over the last 2 weeks.

Have just spoken to the lady could possibly be him but she said he was barking and growling (not like him) but this was early hours of tuesday morning so maybe distressed? She is over the other side of Dagenham just going to head there have a look round and poster around there.
kellyb
have been given a number of a lady who reported a sighting of a dog with the same description as Benny
kellyb

DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Kelly, did you get my info sheet I sent by e-mail? One has come back to me. Just checking. You need to tell the police and say it was a crime as someone opened your gate, which you heard. You need them on the case.Demand they give you a Crime number not an incident no.
kellyb
2nd attempt at trying to get a crime number from the police, just spoke to battersea again they have said they have to give me one?
kellyb

Kelly you need to report this to the police. Sonds like he has been stolen. You need to get a crime numberf. Most important thing to do is print off this poster and put them up everywhere! Hundreds. Make him too hot to handle. You need to work at it, but you can do it.
E-mail info sheets.
