hey had lots of people reading pup poster on van so more people are knowing about her missing & more looking for her so fingers x
Alex
Thanks everyone for still looking I'm still hopeful we will get her back. Claire I am still in touch with the dog wardens and police but no dog of her description has been handed in yet but it is definitely worth me still calling up to keep prompting them that she is still missing.
funkydawgi
hey thanks for poster is on my van so hopefully more eyes will see it & you'll get her home!!

Hi alex, you may care to bear this in mind which came off Dog Alert site this morming:
Just before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday 29 October a member was walking the dog along Riverside Walk, Aylesbury when a man was seen partially hidden in bushes close by. He was engaged in an indecent act. Since in recent years a female dog walker was murdered in broad daylight within 10 metres of where this man was seen, it was felt prudent to alert the police, reference number: 120029102011.

DOGWATCH

My "contact" just further up in Weston Turville informed me yesterda evening that the dog very similar to your one has "disappeared" off the site within a couple of days of it "getting there". You may care to check that this young dog has not been picked up elsewhere in our region and may just be in some rehoming centre. Not sure if you are in contact with dog warden etc. Its a thought. I am still looking and listening. Regards Claire
funkydawgi
Hey yep she is still on my list of "to find"
Jo
Alex, we are all still looking and waiting for good news.
Alex
Went missing 2 weeks yesterday - still no sightings but please don't give up looking for her as she is out there somewhere!
ClaireC
Hi Alex, had a long wander around and about last night in WT sadly I didn't see anything. I'm away next week and if I can help from up North let me know - you have my mobile. Friends of mine are going to keep their eyes open at this end of the world.Last edited: 2011-10-21 08:58:45 by ClaireC

Hi Alex had the email from Dogwatch today and so that's good the more people that are made aware the better. Still checking in my area by the way.
Alex
In The Bucks Herald today - lets hope that raises some awareness. Claire - I have registered Tracy as missing with Dogwatch today, thanks for that it looks like a promising website especially as the police are involved too. Jo I have contacted Kim and asked if she would pass on her details - have sent over some photos also so she knows what she looks like. I will keep you all posted.
Jo
Alex, please do get in contact with Kim. When I had to do a search of Berkhampsted every policeman/woman I stopped said they already knew about Poppy as Kim had told them. If the article about the other puppy is linked to Tracy then she might have been taken over the Chesham way, this is the area that Kim covers. I don't think that this other puppy is registered on this site so I have spoken to TV Police and given details of Doglost website and Tracy's id to pass to the owners of the other dog. Hopefully this will get more people involved in the search for both dogs.

I have no news but have still been looking, just so u know people are still on the look out
ClaireC
Alex you might care to sign up to this website as well.

Alex
This all seems too much of a coincidence: Another Jack Russell x puppy, female taken from Chesham (not too far from us) have a look at this article:
http://chesham.buckinghamshireadvertiser.co.uk/2011/10/police-release-images-of-puppy.html
This puppy was taken around the same time the day before Tracy went missing.
Please look out for both of them.
ClaireC
Hi Alex just to be aware that if she has been stolen and still in this area she might possibly have been given a haircut to get rid of fluff! When you put her in local paper don't put the reward price on offer is my suggestion and be prepared for a lot of hoax phone calls is another. I'm still looking.
Alex
Still no sightings of Tracy anywhere. Going in the local paper today so hopefully that will reach more people. We're expecting a call back from the police today also.
The main thing that makes her easier to identify is that she is very long coated and fluffy. Not giving up hope as we believe she is out there somewhere, please keep a look out. Thanks everyone.
ClaireC
Hi Alex we've now made contact with each other. Hopefully I will be in touch. Thanks Jo for passing on my number. I'm sure this village will be on the lookout for Tracey.
ClaireC
Hi Alex, has Tracey any other marks etc on her to make her more easily identifiable please? Also I am told that you have notified the police but have you mentioned where she might be by any chance? Please let either Jo know and she can pass on my mobile number to you.
Jo
Alex well done yesterday, I know it is hard but you have to follow every lead, just in case. If nothing else, more people in Weston Turville now know about your lost dog will now be on the lookout. Claire WT did an amazing job finding out about where the dog was, not easy under the circumstances. Keep positive and good luck.
ClaireC
We have spoken today Jo and I on your Puppy. Good luck on where to find her.
ClaireC
I will monitor the "site" in Weston Turville as well as still keeping a lookout for Jo's Poppy.
Alex
Thanks everyone. Any help is greatly appreciated!
funkydawgi

Sorry to see that TRACY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (33409)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
