- I am so very sorry for you and your poor Mum and her other dog. This is very heartbreaking. There is nothing that could have been done. Sometimes things are meant to be, and we don't know why. But you DID find Enli - he is no longer lost. Please tell your mum that sometimes the special dogs are needed back in heaven quicker than we would like. Please tell her that sweet Enli is now safe in the arms of God and when the time is right, all of you, one by one, will be reunited once again. And this time, you'll never be parted again! God bless you all. x

- Sorry I haven't updated before. It's been a bit difficult to think about. It was definitely Enli from what everyone at the vets can tell.
We are really upset. I wish I had better news for all the people that have helped us look for him. I'm a bit upset that it didn't click with anyone at the vets when we called asking about a missing dog but it's not important now.
We really miss him. It's hard to believe he's not coming home. - 2011-11-01 08:49 Berties Family
- really sorry for your news - please can you supply an update x
- 2011-10-30 21:06 Angus
- Sarita I am so sorry to see this news - we will have to wait until you have spoken to the vets tomorrow - Hoping that it is not Enli but it does sadly sound very likely especially with the total lack of sightings - thinking of you tonight x

- Awful news. We had a call from a veterinary nurse today who is 99% certain that the dog hit by a car she picked up on the side of the road 2 weeks ago before she went on holiday was Enli. She was in work today and saw the poster. He has already been cremated so we can't go and see 100% but she is sure. We will call the vet tomorrow to see if someone else can confirm but it's the tiniest of tiny hopes they will say it's not him. We're devastated. I just wanted him home so badly.

- The local schools in Poppy's area (31602) all put her picture in their school newsletters - this gave massive coverage and saved my legs! Good Luck.
- 2011-10-26 18:55 Sarita
- We have stopped everyone we see with dogs so hopefully most of the dog walkers around here are keeping an eye out.
It's half term at the moment but I will talk to the local schools when the kids are back.
Thanks for looking for us, we appreciate all the help. - 2011-10-26 15:26 Berties Family
- can you get it put in the paper? ask local schools, go around usual walk areas, head towards linford wood area - if you see people walking dogs ask them for help in spotting Enli. We drove around on Monday night but only saw a fox :(, back in the area on Thursday night so please post on here if you have any sightings
- 2011-10-26 13:17 Sarita
- Still nothing. We spent Sunday walking around Bradwell Village, Bancroft and some of Stacey Bushes. I've put up even more posters. I feel like I've come to the end of what I can do and it's just about waiting. I want to be doing something though.

- Any news on Enli?
- 2011-10-23 14:31 Sarita
- Mum spoke to the man today. He found Enli on the wooden footbridge in Bancroft Park and was trying to take him home but he slipped his collar by the time they got to the meeting place in Bancroft. He left Enli's collar over a bollard after trying to call us and getting someone else twice.
- 2011-10-23 04:17 Sarita
- I will call the man tomorrow and ask more questions. The call woke me up so I have to admit a lot of questions occurred to me after I hung up. I did think to jot down his number from my caller display though.
We left posters at local pubs and sports clubs today, and taped them to all the dog bins we saw too.

- Sarita I have text you - we need to know which direction Enli went in after he " slipped his collar"
- 2011-10-22 14:41 Sarita
- I had a call this morning from the gentleman we think was the one Billy's rescuers spoke to.
He said he tried to take Enli home but he slipped his collar and that the number on the tag was wrong. The call woke me up so I didn't think to ask why the collar was in the bushes outside the meeting place but have kept his number so may text him later.
This does mean though that Enli may have been taken in by someone else minus his collar or that he has been wandering. :-(
We are looking for him again today. - 2011-10-22 11:33 Steph.JD
- Its no trouble at all, I have everything crossed that he is home safe and sound VERY soon. Please post if there is anywhere you havnt been able to cover or want help covering as I'm happy to help.
- 2011-10-20 17:59 Sarita
- Thank you Steph. That's wonderful. If it was possible to find one upside to Enli being missing it's the wonderful people that have gone out of their way to help bring him home to us.
I was hopeful this morning he had been found when I saw a found dog that matched his description on the dog warden website but it wasn't him :-(
We are hoping to go out some time over the weekend to various vets and pet shops in Milton Keynes to hand out some pictures we had printed. I have emailed and phoned many of them but an actual photo to hand may help more.
Thank you again everyone. - 2011-10-20 13:45 Steph.JD
- Last night I handed out some A5 posters around Heelands and Bradwell Common. Unfortunatly it was already dark by the time I finished work so only met a few dog walkers, but all were willing to stop and have a chat and take Enli's info. One young girl said she may have sighted him but that was on Friday. Please update if there are any searches on at the weekend if he hasnt been found as Im not working so should be able to help.
- 2011-10-18 22:10 Angus
- Thanks Berties family - I think if we can get posters into every pet food store - the one with the eyes on someone has to recognise him - this is going to be a case of making him TOO HOT TO HANDLE
- 2011-10-18 21:56 Berties Family
- will put poster in my car - have you spoken to pets at home vet area or shop or do they need a poster?
- 2011-10-18 21:42 Angus
- I Have just uploaded a new image of Enli - he has the most amazing distinctive eyes - someone must recognise this lad if they see him out and about
- 2011-10-18 10:49 Angus
- Have updated Jake the lurcher's Facebook page to Enli's as it already has a number of members in the area - and have asked everyone to share the info

- It is definitely Enli's collar minus the tag. There are posters around Bancroft and Bancroft Park and we leafleted that area too.
We walked around for another hour today.
We are going to put something in the paper and I will try schools as soon as I can. Thank you. - 2011-10-17 18:12 Angus
- Sarita - have you got posters up on Bancroft park as well as on Heelands? - if someone has taken him in and wants to keep him you need to make it as difficult as possible for them to do so ... place an advert in the citizen newspaper with a colour picture of him - was the collar the same as Enli's ? - ask the local schools to read out a notice at assembly - children arer very observant to anyone with a new dog - keep up the pressure with the posters.
- 2011-10-17 17:33 Sarita
- Just got back from Forest lodge and no news. We had a call from someone who had seen a dog collar at the meeting place in Bancroft. We found it in a bush; unbuckled and without it's tag. It had a little rust on it like it's been outside for days. We really don't know what else to do.
- 2011-10-17 11:56 Angus
- Sarita - I will be at Forest lodge this afternoon and can check for you if you like - have sent his details to Appledown Kennels incase he has been taken into Bedfordshire
- 2011-10-17 10:22 Sarita
- Thank you Bertie's family. We have contacted a couple of vets in the area but will try further afield. We are going to Forest Lodge today to check for ourselves if he is there.
- 2011-10-17 09:00 Berties Family
- can owners family contact all vets in area including pets at home. I will be going to linford wood on thurs and will poster at the hall, he is placed on my facebook page
- 2011-10-16 20:59 Angus
- Sarita,

- Sorry we haven't answered straight away.
Enli left the house at 4pm on the 11th of Oct. My mum has recently had a stroke and heart attack and we had been leaving the door unlocked so neighbours could pop in. Enli managed to pull the handle and let himself and her other dog. Billy, out. Billy was found in Bancroft Park and when we fetched him, the wonderful people that had him said they had met another man that had found a dog and was going to call the dog warden. This dog matched Enli's description.
We call the dog warden and Forest Lodge twice a day and they have nothing.
We spend as often as we can looking for him on the estates along the route he and Billy would have taken and have posted leaflets. We are getting quite worried now.
Thanks everyone for your help. It's great to know there are kind and helpful people watching out for him. - 2011-10-16 02:05 Angus
- Enli is still missing - owners have been searching all day for him - if anyone is local can you please poster areas around Heelands and neighboring estates
- 2011-10-15 15:30 Angus
- Have sent owners another message via text for an update - I have helpers willing to go out and search but we need an update to see if this is still needed ?
- 2011-10-12 20:45 Angus
- Thanks for registering Sarita - what time did Enli go missing and where abouts on Heelands - we can see if there is any CCTV locally that we could possibly look at ?
- 2011-10-12 20:20 Steph.JD
- Just an idea, (apologies if you have already done this) but phone Forest Lodge Kennels in the morning as they take in the majority of dogs picked up by the dog warden in the Milton Keynes area. Also if Enli isn't chipped and the number on the tag is incorrect they would be unable to contact the owner. Hope he is found safe soon.

- Whoops...its been changed...

- Hi, any idea where the man picked Enli up from? Can you please change the Poster information to 'Heelands' from 'Heathens'. Thank you.
- 2011-10-12 16:24 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Witnesses say a man picked Enli up and asked around as he said the phone number on the collar was incorrect...he told passers by he was going to report to the dog warden. But owner has heard nothing to date.
