With so much dog-napping going on now....would you consider getting her microchipped, can be a life changing (only for the better) decision! So pleased for you and little Millie - she's gorgeous!

Thanks soooooo much everyone for your help. I am over the moon to get my Millie back and think everyone's support and concern has been amazing! I am so lucky to have tapped into the NW9 network of caring dog lovers. The response from this website and the local dog-walking community has been overwhelming. I will be more than happy to volunteer for the site and will be spreading the word about it! Again, thanks to all, I'm thrilled. And Millie? Dog tired!

A man just rang up to report a dog in his garden...he did not know about breeds of dogs but described it as small black and hairy...he felt sorry for the dog so gave it some milk and tuna...and then somemore...he googled found dog and came up with doglost...he is in the NW9 postcode so have passed details on to owner....paws crossed....

Spoken to owners, they have been out all night looking, Millie was being walked by friends prior to owners (supposed!) holiday today so she doesn't know area. Lots of people are aware she is missing and owners contacting usual authorities. Need to get posters asap, though. I hand wrote a couple but if anyone local can print some off, please do so. Douglasmum, I know about Sprout's adventure, it was my friend Jo who found him, please let everyone on the housing estate where you live aware of Millie in case someone has taken her in, she has no id on.

This is really near me, I will go there now with my 2 dogs and look out for her. Which side of Fryent way was she lost? Seems like the side with the stables on, and am I correct in thinking she was seen on the other (carpark) side today? I will let all my dog-walker friends know. Can't print posters til this eve but hope you have put some up already. Good luck.xx
