Hi guys, can we get a picture of this boy, I've got quite a few contacts in Dagenham and Romford including a few grooming parlours. I have alerted them already but could do with a piccy to go on the poster? Any chance of it? BecciLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi again, sorry I didn,t say that very clearly. I had a person contact me about my Alfie, they said that it could be Alfie but they had him and he was part of the family now and nomatter what I would never get him back. Because I can prove that my Alfie is microchipped and that I have been active in trying to find him ...then there is no doubt that I would get him back. However this was not my dog. A microchip WILL prove ownership in any court.JustineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

From my personal experience, if a dog is not chipped then it is down to the OWNER to prove what he/she has done to find the missing dog. However... the courts will favour who the dog runs to. JustineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I trhink this is a bout of criminal incompetence from the police! - Val Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

They didn't take any details in the first place, Daisy - the woman rang up, said she'd found a dog, gave a description but no dogs (at that time) were reported that were similar - so they didn't take her name or contact details... Charlie was subsequently reported missing and the police helpfully told his owner that a dog of similar description had been phoned in - but of course they didn't have the details!! Complete incompetence! Again! Fortunately a crime number has been issued... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Police didn't take details of the dog.. and no dog has been handed in so if it was Charlie, we need to find who made the call!!! Newpapers, TV, radio being contacted and email chain letter being sent out. Charlie will soon be too hot to handle. DISTINCTIVE POINT: CHARLIE IS WEARING A PINK COLLAR!! Missing from secure garden with locked gates. At bottom of garden is the Romford Dog Track, where many people can pass by and would see Charlie in his garden. Charlie is approachable and could've been picked up over the garden fence. Cash reward offered. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Charlie's owner can be contacted on 07775 526834. Worryingly her police ststion have told her they have reports of a similar dog being found but will not give owner the details as finder wants to keep the dog!!!!!! I think this is one for Dee!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
