- Hi xxzoe. Thank you so much for registering the found dog on DogLost.
Is the dog staying with you or has it been collected by the dog warden? There isn't a dedicated dog warden in your area and all strays are handled by the Animal Wardens and I see you have already registered the dog with them:
Found Dog
14 Oct 2011 Labrador
Location: Rossendale BB4
Gender: Male
Colour: Black
Size: Medium
Our Ref: 248599
Is he a cross breed, or a labrador?
Is anybody chasing up the address in North Humberside? There are a couple of blacks labs missing in that area and he may well have been taken out of the area if he has been found / stolen in the past.
Please contact Aspen Valley Kennels on 07787 737431 as this is where all the strays are taken in your area and the owner may well have made enquiries with them.
Again thanks for registering him with us, and a photograph would really help to the owner identify him :)
Have sent a text alerting to this post and again requesting a photo. - 2011-10-14 23:40
- Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
