Don't give up hope. I lost my 16 year old staffy years ago, never thought i would see her again, she had managed to get out of house and we looked everywhere. She had been taken in by a lady who thought we had dumped her because of her age. The Police had found her so it's worth while speaking to a few different stations as they may have names of people who take in strays etc. We got Tina back by this method - I really hope you find chaucer soon.
