- a friend of mine posted this photo on FB of a GSD found wandering in Clayton and her son in law managed to catch her. I have just checked through the lost GSD's on here and I think there is quite a resemblance to missing Megan, and this girl looks like she has been running loose for quite a while!

- Search around the canal area at dusk if you can. If Megn is hiding in a garden or undergrowth there she might be more likey to come out when it's quieter at dusk or dawn- especially if she was spooked when she ran off.

- Have now had further details from the owner of Megan. We are keeping the contact numbers as German Shepherd Dog Rescue. At the time Megan went missing there were 4 directions she could have gone, the roads or the canal. Although people walking off the canal at the time said they hadn't seen her. The family searched daily in the surrounding areas and have contacted everyone they can think of. They are devastated that she is still missing, especially the son who was walking Megan when she ran off.
Interestingly Megan was lost just 2 miles away from where Kali 33106 ran off. Hope they are keeping each other warm. Have recommended Megans owners could contact Kalis owners. I'm sure they could help each other, go in opposite directions on searches etc.
I have sent the advice email to Megans owner.Last edited: 2011-10-18 22:27:06 by Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester - 2011-10-18 20:33 zen
