- So sorry to see that Jess did not make it home.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Bless Jess and her family. Run free at the bridge.Night, night sleep tightxxx PS You have to be so careful today with busy roads today. Have been told by "Dog experts" that even a puppy can run approx 25mph. I know how quick animals can be having almost lost the family dog in this way myself. I was lucky the dog fortunately wasn`t hit (Though was a very close shave). PLEASE DOG OWNERS TAKE CARE. THANKS - 2011-10-20 12:17 DianeM

Run free in the sunshine at the Bridge lovely girl x - 2011-10-20 11:29 Unknown
- Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, Jess was found by the Highways Agency having been hit by a car and killed outright, which is some consolation knowing that she didn't suffer and wasn't left roaming the streets looking for us.

- Can you confirm if this is the Melbury or Warkworth woods side of Brunton Lane as there are ponds on both sides but clearly she could be on either by now, the wooded area near the A1 near the childrens playground on Warkworth Woods is near where we walk our dog each day so we will get on the case.
