Thanks Jan. I forgot about Halewood, I will ring them in the morning. I'll take him for a walk a bit further afield tomorrow to see if he leads me anywhere. I had hoped someone would ring me tonight as the police and dog warden have my number, but nothing yet.

Have just spoke to juliem. She is going to text a photo of the yorkie to Majorjet. The yorkie has been reported to the dog warden and the police and also rang round a few groomers as he is well looked after. Julie has also put a few posters up in the area. The dog has also been scanned by 2 different vets. The dog will be staying with Julie until the owner has come forward, hopefully this won't be too long. Nice chatting to you Julie :)

Hi Juliem, thank you for taking to the time to register the yorkshire terrier you found.

Is there any chance you could send a photograph of him to help identify him? Have you notified your local Dog Warden? Halton Council Dog Warden is available on 0303 333 4300 or out of hours it is the Animal Wardens on 0845 241 7253. It is the law that the Dog Warden must be notified even if you want to keep him with you until his owner comes forward. Is he staying with you or has the Dog Warden already collected him?

Has he been checked for a microchip?
