Just had a lovely phonecall from Sophie's owner to say she is now tucked up at home where she belongs :)

Apparently Sophie has lived most of her life in kennels and has only been with her new owner about a month. She had managed to slip out the front door which leads straight onto the pavement. Welcome Home Sophie and no more sneaking out :) xx

Have left a message and my number on their answer phone. Hopefully they are already aware as Sophie is microchipped. Will try again later.

Just seen this on Twitter from Thames Valley Police, TVP Aylesbury: Have you lost a black Greyhound found wandering alone in Buckingham this morning? Dog safe and well now with dog warden.

Will contact owners and keep my fingers crossed that this is a match :)
