have just had a phone call from the owner who is so pleased to have these two back home where they belong. They were picked up 5 miles awayby the police on Saturday morning and although reported missing to them the connection was not made untill the holding kennels recieved the email alerts this morning. Spot is so destinctive he was recognised imediatly and the owners got the call to say where they were. They are now both chipped, welcome home boys.

Thank you Bobble and Shelties mum for posts. Both Spot and Diesel are safely back home and very happy to be there. Hopefully they will get a nice microchip as a present. Very happy they are both safe.

I have printed off a poster that I will put up near petrol station straight away for now. Once we know if Spindles information is correct and it would be great if it was, I will if necessary print off more and poster dog walk areas near me.
Shelties MUM
Shocked that your dogs have been stolen. If I can help let me know Im in Wincanton but lost my dog near Bruton so know the area well. I will follow your updates, otherwise hope they are at rescue.

I have advised owners to get as much publicity as possible and spread the word far and wide as these 2 could be anywhere by now. Aslso given details of kennels, dog wardens, vets etc in case they escape or are dumped.
