Sammy has been found he had been living in a hole in West Leake and popped out this morning to play with someones dog...the owner had seen the posters and scopped him up.

If the West Leake sighting was correct, it is possible that Sammy is trying to find his way back home which is in Castle Donnington DE74, please everyone in the area keep a look out.

I live close to where Sammy was seen on Friday.I have printed off posters & will pin as many as I can round area.We also ride out on our horses everyday so we will keep a close look out for him across the fields & put some posters up on bridlepaths etc.
It will be worth alerting all 3 councils (dog wardens) in the area as Sammy could have crossed the borders into either-Derbyshire-nottingham & Leicestershire council areas as East Leake is not far from all 3 council areas.
We will do everything possible to try & help find little sammy.Keep safe sammy.

Sammys carer was informed he was seen in West Leake on Friday afternoon but other than that today has drawn a blank.

There have been no sightings or any information so far, just hoping tomorrow with being a Monday some new leads come in. Stay safe little Sammy.

Thanks Ellie, have changed the photo so this one is actually Sammy. Help with postering for this little guy would be much appreciated by anyone in the area. Things can come to a bit of a standstill over the weekend but I hope someone has picked him up and he's safe and warm for the time being. Really need posters to go out asap please!!

I have now been forwarded a picture of Sammy so we may change the similar one. Sammy is microchipped. He has one testicle and cancer in existing testicle. He has one eye. He has a heart condition. Please stay safe little guy.

Sammy is 12 years old and escaped from the garden this afternoon. He is a short coat chi wearing a collar and bell, there is a tag attached but in the name of his owner who is away on holiday - Sammy is staying with a friend of the family and doesnt know the area at all.

Due to circumstances the lady does not have a photo of Sammy and does not want to inform owner at this stage so can a photo dog of a similar sort be put on his page and alerts go out please?
