Found injured and lying down on the hard shoulder of the M6 near junction 9. Need to find the owner A.S.A.P. so please share this !

He's been taken to Birmingham RSPCA hospital for treatment on his fractured leg. Keep sharing, he's a lovely dog, even though he was injured and obviously in a lot of pain he was gentle, friendly and a pleasure to be with"

Have phoned AW to check details on the found. The post code states found M28 but was actually found in Stockport SK2. M28 is where it was taken to (pet medics)
Will chase up with Stockport DW...

Very briefly spoke to owner. Details updated, Buster was scared by fireworks and ran off. I've shared details and photo of Buster of Facebook. Keeping everything crossed he is back home soon.

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
