Pigeon Park (by st Peter's Cathedral) in Birmingham city center. He was on a harness lead (one that goes over the shoulders) and with two white males who looked to be around 18 years old with black hair and facial peircings.

if this dog has been "adopted" by homeless people, I don't think they'll be able to take it into a shelter with them. More likely that they are squatters, they like to have dogs with them to wake them up if anyone is breaking in to evict them!
Find out where squatters are in this area and you may have some luck in finding this dog.

Spoken to owner today, they are going to have another stab at the newspaper to see if they can get him in, they are getting phone calls every day about dogs that could be him. Come on Polo we need you home. Liz xx

Hi, it might be a good idea to find out what homeless shelters/daycentres are nearby and ask around - also soup kitchens; these are normally run by local churches or the Salvation Army. The helpers might have seen this man, or be able to give leaflets out to increase awareness. Good luck

Spoken to owner Polo is tagged, and chipped. He escaped from back garden when wind blew gate open, he is 12 years old and was seen in city centre by people camping outside the council house (protest) he was also seen with a hoodie on a makeshift lead. City Centre has been postered and police are aware and also Birmingham Mail has been approached. Need to make Polo too hot to handle. Liz xx
