Nik - saying "Stolen" in huge letters causes the theives problems - ironically it scares them away - if they can turn up saying they found a missing dog, less questions are asked of them - but if they turn up with a stolen dog, they have handled stolen property - that incriminates them. That's why we say Missing... it takes that fear away - even though we know in this case that Caine was stolen

Stolen is much for emotive than missing. Can the poster be changed. Will try to get Cain on Blast 1386 the student station in Reading. Will poster WD4 & WD5.

Thank you to all of you who are now responding to Cain's plight. Charlotte has been unable to get on the site due to a computer glitch our end - but hopefully we'll have that sorted quite shortly. I'm sure you can imagine how distraught she is at the moment about the whole situation. Cain is a bit of a "one-off" when it comes to staffie types - he's a unique colouring, I'm sure he'll be spotted shortly.

ok guys we are 99% sure it was Cain in the house: but he was moved before a police raid :( If he has been moved... then he has been moved most probably to the following areas from where he was in CRESSEX to HIGH WYCOMBE, BEACONSFIELD, READING OR SLOUGH. Please please all helpers in area I shall be contacting you shortly - we need your help - all gypsy areas need investigating - all sites need looking at - and I have a name of the gypsy involved if anyone wants that info... obviously can't post here.

Tip off received about Cain's whereabouts looks genuine. Pressure now being put on the local police to go get him: doesn't look hopeful in that respect. Have put owner in touch with local radio who are doing a piece on theft in the RG area to see if we can a) embarrass the police and b) recover Cain. Please all helpers in the HIGH WYCOMBE area please poster.

Please can helpers in SURREY help? GU24 area particularly - KT/RH areas also. Believed gypsy theft, and dogs from the same area have been recovered in GU postal code. owner has postered once but isn't local and really needs help. We have the reg of a vehicle that has been removing the missing posters from the village he was stolen from but police refusing to trace it. Silver Vauxhall Brava 4x4 R reg.
