So sorry to read this. Thoughts with Reggie's owners at this sad time. Not what we wanted to hear, but at least they have closure (sadly unlike missing WSS Tay's mum).

Sad to report that we recovered Reggie's body from the grass verge of the A3 this morning. He had obviously been hit by a vehicle and died some time ago, probably around the time he disappeared. He was lying in the long grass, where he was spotted by a cyclist, to whom we are very grateful for informing us.

A huge thank you to all the dog walkers and well-wishers, who searched for him and sent messages of support.

Heard from owner but sadly there is no news of Reggie.

Really hoping Reggie is found safe and well very soon;
could his colour be changed to red & white as that is what all Welshies are and from his photo he definately is a WSS.

I googled Weavers Down and there are quite a few contact details for that area. One in particular was the Hampshire Conservation Volunteers not sure if they could help or how to make contact with them.

Although several days old, last night a telephone message of a possible siting in Weavers Down - this is in the Liphook / Old Thorns area. The person who saw an unattended dog said it was the right colours and looked like a spaniel. It was shy and wouldn't come close.
