I'm happy to hear Nishka is now home. I met her today, and she is a total sweetheart! My dog took a real shine to her. I hope her paws heal well, I'm not surprised she is sore after travelling the distance she did, given where she was found and would have been frantic with the fireworks. Her owners must be over the moon to have her back!

Nishka is safely home now and apart from 4 very sore paws she is ok.

I think I know someone who has taken this dog in. They found her yesterday morning (5/11/11), I haven't seen the dog but a friend has, and I showed her Nishka's photo and she said it is the same dog. I don't want to get anyones hopes up though, just in case she has made a mistake. I will pass on the phone number to the woman who has her, first thing in the morning. I really hope this is the same dog, and it will be a happy ending!
