Just got back in after a busy day - thanks so much for your message this morning Paula - it made me smile knowing that Mable was home safe - very generous of Mabels owners to make that donation to DogLost to help get other dogs reunited with their owners xLast edited: 2011-11-07 18:16:30 by Angus

I've sent Mabels details to friend (who now lives in Spain) who used to live in this area, I've asked her to send round to all her old friends, neighbours and to the school at Hersham where she used to teach. I often walk my dogs around Downside, I will try and get over that way today, if not should be able to tomorrow. I hope Mabel will be safely home very soon.

Shared link on Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare's Facebook page as they are based in Hersham & have a lot of local sighthound supporters. Hope Mabel is caught safely very soon xx

Went out this morning for a few hours, met owners, walked around near last nights sigting areas. Mabel was seen on the towpath by the lads on the boatyard underneath Walton Bridge at about 5pm but they assumed she was with someone. Lisa then saw her at the trafficlights side of Walton Bridge then onto the bridge and down steps to towpath at about 7pm last night. Posters put up and runners and dog walkers spoken to. Owner was heading off to check out stables nearby as Mabel is very used to horses. She is frightened of lud noises (fireworks) and will avoid other dogs. More likely to approach a lady than a man.
