Stormy's owner thought he had found Stormy but DL established that it was not Stormy. Stormy is still missing. Owner wants to keep the found dog but has been advised to go thru the correct procedure & check for chip. If not claimed he can ask to keep her. Sherlock ha smore info. April, this area is not near Harlow, but anything's possible. However, there have been a few staffies on the loose in Harlow recently, not all on this site. All but one, are back, I think. What group? The "ever lived in Harlow" FB or an animal FB? Thanks April. x

Sometimes dogs look and act completely different after they've been on the loose, and covered in dirt can mask their real appearance. Owners are also in a different state of mind so two and two makes four until a while after, when it kind of makes three instead. :-) If that makes sense? Maybe Stormy led his owner to help another dog as well as finding him. Hope we get Stormy back too! x

Dee, this is the one where owner lives at a traveller site - so as Stormy was not seen at all until this dog was sighted, we need to see if owner can go back to his first thought of travellers. Can either Jo, Dee or CJ advise owner on what to do in this respect. He prefers to talk rather than text or e-mail. Easier for him. Please can I ask one of you to work thru the action necessary with him? Thank you. Kim x

Kimmybear, i'll try and text you the photo of the found dog. Owner is going to check her for a chip. No further sightings of Stormy - but then again everyone thought she was found so no-one looking... need to readvise kennels again, I'd have thought...

Oh no!! At least this dog has been found! And will either be reunited with its owners or will have a new happy home with Stormy's owner. But where is Stormy? Need to work on the site near where owner lives, possibly? Oh, please lets get Stormy home. Please keep those posters going up in the RM15 area. PLEASE.... x

I'm afraid that the found dog wasn't Stormy so we've put her back as missing. Please continue to look for her. Stormy's owner would like to keep the found dog, so he's been advised on how to report her as found and we hope that if Stormy comes home the two are friends!

Been following Stormy's story, she is gorgeous and am so happy she is back where she belongs.If not already chipped and tagged, this would be a great Xmas present for her in case she goes AWOL again!x

Micrcles do happen, as of 3.30pm today our princess stormy is home safe and sound. were delighted and overjoyed at her being home and our empty hearts have been filled again, we would like to thank everyody that helped us find our baby and all the support we recieved from doglost and there volunteers, once again we are realy reatefull

Well done Jaycee! Gently does it, maybe a trap,or maybe the lady can entice her into her garden and shut the gate? She has been on the run so will be a bit wild now, but that will change once she's caught. Is she heading towards home? They usually do a triangle route. Jaycee, I am so glad you posted. Just heard that Stormy has been seen somewhere between Beacon Hill and the new Opera House, which means she's going in the Grays direction. I'm in contact with local folks who have been feeding and keeping an eye on her. Will update if I hear more. Stay safe a bit longer Stormy. X

We desperately need help here, as CJ said, as there doesn't seem to be many helpers. This dod has been sighted for four days in this area and owners almost caught her, but fireworks went off and she ran. PLEASE HELP. We need you. Thank you. x

owner is going back to area sighted where a lady has been putting out food. getting 100 posters printed and putting them around area s seen.

Owner has advised there is no news of Stormy, but that he lives on a travellers site. Not sure if he means he is a traveller or lives by a site. Told him this is probably where Stormy is and he needs to speak to travellers and make them undertsand how much Stormy means to him, and thus give him back if they do have him. Owner, please keep trying and remember those posters! x

I live in thurrock, shared Stormy's poster on my facebook... keep searching and get as meny posters out there as possible, I lost my dog sadie a month ago and thanks to doglost she was found within a few hours of joining this site, Good luck :-))

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (34213)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
