The found dog with Pendle Dogs in need isn't this Lexi, rescue had checked this one. The found one doesn't have white on her toes

Thank you for thinking of Lexi
Unknown
Think rescue have checked out this dog and it is not the same dog as the found one has no white on it's toes.

There is a Staffie that us with Pendle Dogs in Need and is currently with foster caters. She is chopped to a Bolton Address but the owner has moved. Her chip details say she is called Lexi. Worth checking out

How likely is it that LCDH would have the age estimate on one of their dogs for rehoming wrong - they have a black staff listed for rehoming - stated age 18months - 24months - they have called her Elouise, but she is a similar-looking black staff with white left front paw - and white on back right too.

Various size posters now done and emailed to hippy chick. Hope they help spread the word and we get some news on Lexi. Great to see REUNITED Tia who was also stolen have been helping Lexi's family in their search. Keeping everything cross they get the same results as Tia's family. x

No I haven't rung the out of hours dog wardens.

Last time I called them, they said they wouldn't come out unless I had caught the dog. That time it was an aggressive Rottie and I didn't fancy chancing my arm, even though I had him cornered when I rang them, I couldn't get him on a leash and in the end had to leave him to his fate .... whatever that was :(
Unknown
Hi quirky' Thank you for posting on here. Have you called the out of hours Animals Wardens 0845 241 7253 to report it ? :)
quirky
Probably not relevant but I shall say it anyway :).

About an hour ago, I tried to catch a SBT (sex unknown) on Sherwood Way in Preston. It appeared to be pretty worried and took off as I approached it.
It had no collar, which is why I abandoned my attempts to catch it, I didn't have a lead on me :(.
I have walked back up there with a lead but there is no sign of it.

Thank you Jan :)

I will pass that information on to the owner Witchy-poos, thank you' :)

I hope Lexi is safely home soon. If she is found as a stray in the area, she will be taken to Aspen Valley Kennels. They post pics of all the found dogs here under dogs searching for a new home: http://rescuecentral.webs.com/apps/photos/ Please do not rely on the Microchip being found, they do get missed quite often so keep checking with the kennels: 01254 871913 going down in person is better if you can. Fingers crossed she's back with you very soon.xxx

Now just spoken to owner. He hasnt got a photo of Lexi.
He has notified dog warden and visited Aspen Valley Kennels.
Posters have been put up and flyers given out and he's gone to all the places he walked with Lexi. He said she would know her way home from the market hall. There were CCTV cameras but not pointing in the right direction.
Fingers crossed there's some news of this girl soon.

Sorry to see that LEXI is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (34222)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
